After Atticus said “It’s a sin to kill a Mockingbird”, it caught my curious eye. I mean, that line Atticus said was the best one I've heard through the whole book, and at the end of To Kill a Mockingbird, being the book, when Scout said that line to protect a man that helped her from getting killed. I knew that she did not want that man to go to jail for helping children after being locked up in a house for God knows how many years. He helped the kid and in that time period, even if he did do a good deed, the county was not going to reward him for that. They would have most likely put him in jail, he may have Atticus being his attorney, but the jury is really tough on people that act that way, or were locked up in their own house forever.
Scout and Atticus realized how important it is to kill a mockingbird, being Boo Radley, the guy who saved Scout and her big brother. This quote will be carried in my memory until I die because this quote will never be forgotten.
