Who cares 4 grammar?

The article " I Won't Hire People Who Use Poor Grammar. Here's Why" is article by and about Kyle Wiens and how he is a "grammar stickler" and wouldn't give someone a job if the didn't have almost perfect grammar. He gives all his employees (even the people who's jobs have nothing to do with grammar) a monthly grammar test, which I believe is a absurd and useless idea. He says  that people judge you if you can't tell the difference between there, they're, and their which is true but why should it matter how people judge you it's a slight learning curve that you can fix if you want to. There is no reason for you to care what others think or for your grammar to be perfect. In his article he says that performance, creativity, and intelligence involve grammar. Which I believe is completely ridiculous. Your creativity and job performance have nothing to do with your grammar they have to do with nothing other than your will to try.

Kyle Wiens' article "I Won't Hire People Who Use Poor Grammar"  was in my opinion harsh and opinionated. His idea that if you have bad grammar you are most likely bad at  other actions. Which is telling people who have bad grammar they  probably can't stack books. If you can't separate to and too you have a slight learning curve that does not mean  you shouldn't get a job you do.

  1. I agree with you in the sense of your grammar doesn't have to be perfect but grammar does have an impact on your job in the future. The way you described the book in the post honestly makes me not want to read this book. Your blog was really good and I enjoyed reading it!

  3. The person who was hiring people was a little harsh with the grammar test. I agree that grammar does not play a major part in some jobs but it is nice to have good grammar for your job when you are writing a paper or even talking to your boss.

  4. I think that grammar reflects on who you are. If you use impressive grammar, then people will think that you are studious. If you use inferior grammar, then people will think you are lethargic.

  5. That is true, it how good your grammar is does not affect your creativity.

  6. I agree that you can't judge people just because of their grammar skills. It does not take away anything from you

  7. I agree with you that your grammar shouldn't affect the way people think of you. However, I do think that you grammar affects your job. I think that the guy may have taken things to far with the grammar but it is important in some ways. I really liked reading your blog! good job!

    1. Thank you and other than writing jobs what would a person need grammar for?

  8. I agree with some of the things on your blog. I agree a monthly grammar test is absurd. He would be the only one job I would not apply to. But you should know grammar because some jobs require grammar like a writer, journalist and an author. Overall, your post was great I like the way you explained your post. Still I think we should learn grammar.

  9. yes, I think you have a good point about how he gave all his employes a grammar test is absurd but I do think it is important to know grammar. If you don't know grammar you will struggle in school work and in the real world!

    1. Thank you for your comment. Alsowhat if your job had nothing to do with grammar. Ex: being a chef has nothing to do with grammar.

    1. Yes, I would unless your job is an author or some type of writer outside of that and the law i don't believe it really matters. Would you change that if you could? and thank you for your comment

  11. I agree with everything that you said on your post. I understand having to have good grammar in school and in jobs that use it like a writer or a journalist but having monthly grammar tests for jobs that don't have anything to do with grammar is most definitely absurd. Overall I really liked your post! I really like the way you explained everything!

  12. Nice post! I like how you put in a lot of detail on why you that Kyle Wiens is being ridiculous for not hiring people with bad grammar. I agree on what you said about Kyle Wiens being ridiculous because not everything is required for you to have perfect grammar.
