Integrity Blog

In our world people do not have integrity. To live with integrity is not to be greedy, dishonest or untruthful. I am not honest at all times but I do try to be truthful. One time I was not moral was when a cashier at a coffee shop gave me the wrong amount of change and I did not tell her. One time I was honest was when my friend dropped ten dollars and I picked it up for her. Integrity is doing the right thing and being pure. If everyone was pure the world would be a great place. A person of integrity follows in the footsteps of Jesus. A person of this lifestyle would not allow others to live without integrity. Like Jesus, they would teach others how to follow the path of righteousness and to be a sincere person.
I do not think one person could live with partial integrity. Either you are honest, sincere, and just or you are corrupt, rude,and/or unfair. I am not always honest so I would deny that I live with integrity. Honestly it takes some getting used to to be all of those things. When I was growing up there were an abundance of  unpolite and unjust people in my neighborhood. I would love to be a person of integrity. My teacher Mrs. Carboni is one of the people who inspires me to live with integrity. A person with integrity will most likely end up in a successful position and that is where I want to be. I know that goal can be reached if I live w

  1. Carlton, I love your explanation of integrity and how you are honest about not having integrity. That really is integrity. Your transitions are great. I also really like how you relate it back to Jesus. That was a great idea. Carlton, I also strive to have integrity and with that have a very successful life.

  2. I do not understand why you do not believe in partial integrity. No one can be perfect except, like you said, Jesus. I really enjoyed how you mentioned him as an example though, it fit perfectly.

  5. Your post was very well thought out and well written, a few things though were awry. One, in the beginning you said “In our world people do not have integrity,” which is not entirely true, there are people in this world that show great amounts of integrity, also at the end the sentence is unfinished. Everything else is very good though.

  7. I actually disagree with "In our world people do not have integrity", I know many people with integrity, only a small amount of people are dishonest. I can actually be dishonest too, once I found a pencil on the ground in my class and I just kept it for myself. If it is money however, I will return it to that person if there are any around. Even though I disagree I still liked your blog and I really appreciate your opinion. :)

  10. I enjoyed you blog Carlton! I love how you used real life examples, like your teacher and yourself, to help form a better image of integrity. I also like how you compared a person who lives with integrity to Jesus. I agreed with you when you wrote "Like Jesus, they would teach others how to follow the path of righteousness and to be a sincere person." I also think that people who live with integrity would lead others down the right path. Great work!

  11. This is a very realistic, powerful, and honest blog. I only don't like how said, "In our world people do not have integrity." There are many people in the world who have integrity, although it is understandable to say that considering all the negative things going on in the world.

  13. Carlton, I do agree with your point of view when you said, " A person of integrity follows in the footsteps of Jesus.", but when you said, "I do not think one person could live with partial integrity. " I don't really agree with you because people could be sometimes be honest and respectful. Otherwise I satisfied with the blog post.

  14. Hey, Carlton. I really like how you said that Jesus was a person of integrity. It was easy -for me- to understand exactly what a true person of integrity is like. It really helps readers understand what you are talking about if you compare what you're talking about to an object or person. However, I disagree with you when you said that someone can't live with partial integrity. I think that someone can live with partial integrity. Someone might not be 100% honest, but they could tell the truth a great majority of them time. I don't think that if someone tells one lie that they don't live with integrity. Just because they say one lie doesn't mean they are corrupt, rude,and/or unfair, but that is just my opinion. All in all, I really liked your blog post. Great job. :)

  16. Nice post! I like how you said that Jesus is a person with integers because it gave me a better picture on what being Integer is. I also liked how you put in example on when you were honest and when you weren't.
